About
Classical Sheffield aims to bring together all of the classical music being made here in Sheffield and the surrounding area, as well as the people making it happen, and share it with everyone. Sheffield and its locality are home to a wealth of talented orchestras, a variety of choirs, aspiring soloists, conductors, composers and everything in between, and only here can you find it all in one place.
Our aim is to bring our amazing Music Makers and Promoters together to present classical music to more people and in more places. As a collective we’ve held four hugely successful Sheffield-wide Classical Weekend Festivals, with the last one in March 2023 reaching over 10,000 people, introducing classical music to thousands of new audience members.

Classical Sheffield currently has over 90 members (1,500+ individuals) who are all enjoying the benefits of being a part of this amazing family of classical music lovers.
We welcome promoters as well as music makers and our membership fees are deliberately modest so that anyone is able to join. Find out how you can become a member or, if you would like to, how you can support us in other ways.
