A festive evening of Christmas choral music

Under Musical Director Kevin Haighton, the first half of our programme features Britten's A Hymn to the Virgin as well as various beautiful settings of texts relating to the rose as a special symbol at Christmastime.

The second half includes highlights such as our great friend Andrew Carter's superb settings of Stille Nacht and The Twelve Days of Christmas and such favourites as I Saw Three Ships and  Deck the Hall!

We're delighted to welcome Kaethe Uken as our young soloist on clarinet; Kaethe plays with the City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra and is a student at the Birmingham Conservatoire. We're also delighted to welcome back the wonderful Peter Heginbotham who will be accompanying the choir on piano and organ.

Tickets include a complementary interval glass of wine / orange juice and mince pie. They are available on the door or via 0114 268 5493.
