A great spiritual journey of the soul

This is Elgar's great setting of Newman's poem the Dream of Gerontius. It unfolds the journey of the soul from death and is one of the greatest 20th century English oratorios. We are pleased to perform again with the Northern Chamber Orchestra and a trio of excellent soloists.
