An exciting collaboration between two unlikely artistic groups

Keneish Dance and Sheffield Oratorio Chorus present an evening of music and contemporary African dance featuring choreographer Keisha Grant’s High I’m…, an African contemporary dance spectacle that takes you through a universe of thoughts, feelings and physical sensation, and David Fanshawe's iconic African Sanctus, which interweaves recordings of African songs and dances with "classical" Western music, choreographed by Keisha Grant and Keneish Dance.

The concert will be dedicated to the memory of Mandla Sibanda and Simon Banda.

Sheffield Oratorio Chorus, Keneish Dance (Dance Company), Keisha Grant (Keneish Dance Choreography), Gweneth-Ann Rand (soprano), Alan Eost (conductor) and South Yorkshire Symphony Ensemble
