The Chiaroscuro Quartet present contrasting masterpieces from the string quartet repertoire. Beethoven’s Quartet in C minor is a powerful and urgent piece, full of dramatic intensity, while a profound melancholy pervades

Schubert’s lyrical Rosamunde. Chiaroscuro is also proud to champion the music of Fanny Mendelssohn and the Quartet in E flat reveals a composer of immense imagination and the very highest technical ability.
