Sheffield Chamber Music Festival 2019
Get closer to the music with Sheffield's annual nine-day celebration of live chamber music!
Concerts are presented in the unique setting of Sheffield's Crucible Studio, where the audience surrounds the performers on all sides. Intimate yet relaxed, it's a space where your seat is close to the musicians so you can feel their energy, sense their excitement, and hear their every note.
We have a range of events on offer alongside a traditional classical programme, led by our world-class resident musicians Ensemble 360. Choral, folk and world music all feature, as well as comedy, poetry, family shows, informal concerts and an internationally-renowned turntablist!
You don't need to know anything about music to enjoy our concerts, and there's no dress code. We just have an open invitation for everyone, of all ages and musical tastes, to come and join us.
