The painter and the painted
An evening of flowing melodies and beguiling harmonies, inspired by art.
Mendelssohn was a talented painter who always travelled with paint brushes and an easel, Schubert mixed in elevated artistic circles in Germany, and Fauré was just one of the famous musicians featured in the magnificent ‘music’ paintings of John Singer Sargent.
