Autumn Concert
A diverse programme of music from the Renaissance to the present day.
Lucy and Jonny team up once again with Black Velvet Clarinet Quartet in a varied programme of classical and lighter items. The duo are stealing one piece from the wind repertoire, as Beethoven's Duo in C major was originally composed for clarinet and bassoon. They will also perform Eight Duets by Reinhold Glière, which is a great favourite of theirs. The clarinet quartet's contribution includes several transcriptions by their own Steve Dumpleton. The concert ends with all six players joining together in a version of Glenn Miller's romantic Moonlight Serenade.
