Fusion Fireworks (Second Performance)

Kuljit Bhamra’s electrifying fusion of Bhangra beats, Asian jazz, pop and classical is a global phenomenon. Tonight, the virtuoso tabla player and composer is joined by Music in the Round’s Bridge Quartet and the Sheffield Music Hub Senior Orchestra for a programme that includes the world premiere of his new piece for string quartet and tabla.

Please note that for today’s performances at Kelham Island the main lift by the bridge is broken but there is a ramp into the main space. If anyone would like to use the ramp please speak to a volunteer or member of staff at the entrance (under the bridge). There is disabled parking outside the bessemer (by main entrance and ramp, this will be coned off. Please speak to the SIMT staff at the entrance to use this parking.
