The Lady and the Dragon
Stories in words and music - an 'alive after five' event
Expert storyteller Hugh Lupton will spin a magical web of tales passed down through the ages in two carefully curated concerts.
In the first, Ensemble 360 performs a selection of beautiful works by masters of English, Hungarian and Czech music, all of which demonstrate how stories have inspired some great composers.
Hugh Lupton is one of Britain’s leading storytellers. He has worked with a glittering array of poets and musicians and received commissions from the National Theatre and BBC Radio, and has appeared at the Barbican Centre, Hay Festival, Bath Literature Festival and Edinburgh Festival.
“As you journey deeper into the world of imagination, the tears slowly start to well up inside you.”
