Three string quartets played by two string quartets

Three string quartets bring our afternoon of music to a close. Members of Ensemble 360 play spirited works for string quartet by young composers on the threshold of greatness, Mendelssohn and Britten. This concert also features the four players of our Bridge Quartet, developing their careers with us since last summer. They’ll be playing miniatures by Anna Meredith recalling her teenage years spent “bombing up and down the M8 in the middle of the night”.

Ticket offer: buy tickets for all three events starting at 1.30pm, 3.00pm and 4.15pm for just £21 (£15 Disabled & Unemployed/ £9 Students & Under 35s) - offer available to first 50 customers only.

Programme

  • BRITTEN: Three Divertimenti
