Alleyes & Friends

We kick off our autumn season with a celebration of the talent within the University of Sheffield’s Music Department.

Two bands will perform; Alleyes, a dextrous rock-fusion group drawing influence from pop, jazz and folk and duet Kate Griffin (Mishra) and Manon McCoy (Pocket, Shivelights) who bring together the banjo and harp, in an unexpected but beautiful sonic pairing. With their voices often merging as one, their songs explore ambient textures, influenced by their background of traditional UK folk music.

Come along and hear recent graduates perform a programme of creative and beguiling music. A lighthearted way to get our autumn season off with a swing!
