Join Martin Harwood and Cath James (fiddles/ guitar/ vocals) for a Burns Night special - foot-stomping jigs and reels, beautiful Scottish songs and a chance to join the kids in some ceilidh (Scottish) dancing. With bubbles, percussion, props and informal introductions, this is a fun and engaging concert for adults and their children aged 0-3 (siblings welcome).
Martin Harwood (fiddle, guitar, vocals) and Cath James (fiddle, viola) are well known on the local and national traditional music scene for their touring and recording work with various highly acclaimed bands including Skyhook, Caravanserai (Martin) and Roger the Badger (Cath). Martin is a highly experienced community musician and music educator, with a particular interest in early years. He also delivers regular training for Sheffield South East Learning Partnership, Derby and York Universities and Music in the Round. He combines exceptional musicianship with a passion for making music fun and accessible for all. Cath is an award-winning fiddle player and superb composer, she was a finalist in the BBC Young Tradition Award, Niel Gow International Fiddle Composition Award and the Amber Fiddle Award, and has graced stages across the world from California to Taipei. She is a sought-after folk fiddle teacher for learners of all ages and abilities and makes violins in her spare time. www.cathjames.com
TICKETS
Adults £8/ first child FREE/ under 6 months FREE/ additional children £2. When booking, please make sure you booked the free spaces too. Pre-sales end at 6pm the evening before the concert.
If there are any tickets left, tickets on the door cost £10 per adult/ £2 additional children (cash or paypal).

INFO FOR ON THE DAY
- Main pub doors open at 10am, Backroom doors opens 15 minutes before the performance time.
- No need to print your ticket. Just tell us your name on the door.
- Free tea, coffee and biscuits are provided (the bar will be selling food and drinks speciality hot drinks from 12midday).
- You are responsible for the safety of your own children and belongings.
- Buggies can be left in the main bar and we encourage you to put coats and bags on the stage area.
- There is nappy changing facilities and feel free to breastfeed.
- This is a listening concert so we encourage you to not chat throughout so your fellow audience members and little ones can really enjoy the music.
