Live Music for children and their grown-ups with sensory engagement

Join Matt (clarinet), Naomi (horn) and Jamie (double bass) for a delightful, musical adventure for young children, Stanley’s Stick, written by John Hegley and illustrator Neal Layton and published by Hachette, originally commissioned by Northern Chamber Orchestra. Stanley’s Stick is no ordinary stick and during the concert, children get to pretend it’s a whistle, a not-so-bendy banana, a thunderous ‘Stickosauras’, a slug-flicker and a swinging saxophone. A sing-along, stomp-along and play along ‘fantaSTICK story!

Between them, Matt Dunn, Naomi Atherton and James Manson perform with Manchester Camerata, Northern Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble 360, Opera North and the well-loved Snowman and Wallace and Gromit concerts by Carrot Productions.

This concerts is designed for 3 & 4 year olds (siblings are welcome).
