David Clover Festival of Singing Weekend
Sheffield's own Festival of Singing Open to All
Do you like to sing but are not performing this year? This may be for you in the future.
Do have friends or relatives who sing? This may be for them too.
Do you like listening to a wide variety of songs and singers? This is certainly for you.
Audiences are welcome to pop in and out of song classes and performance sessions.
There are songs from the Shows, British songs, French songs, German songs, World songs, sad songs, humorous songs, sacred songs, and arias and airs from operas and oratorios.
There are solos and ensembles; songs sung on their own and songs as part of recitals. Classes for children, teenagers and adults.
All in a supportive, gently competitive environment with professional adjudications and sympathetic advice for future development.
All performances on Friday and Saturday take place in the Dore and Totley United Reform Church, Totley Brook Road; all performances on Sunday including the Finals take place in Tapton Hall.
Tickets available on the door.
