Beethoven & Haydn Quartets
An evening of music from two of the most well-known composers of string quartets. The soaring energy of Haydn’s quartet features rhythmic bustle combined with a sweet and beautiful slow movement. The Beethoven that follows is said to have been one of his favourites, and it’s not hard to see why, with its range of emotions from dramatic melancholy to boisterous joy.
