Highlights of Lockdown
Bass/Baritone Silviu Cobeanu and Organist Robert Webb present a programme of sacred songs and organ works from different traditions
Silviu Cobeanu (Cathedral Cantor) and Robert Webb (Cathedral Organist) provided music for the Cathedral's live-streamed Sunday mass throughout lockdown, and now present a programme of sacred songs from different traditions, and organ music which they performed during this time.
The programme ranges from Vaughan Williams, through Dvorak, Rheinberger and Reger to Lili Boulanger - a great mixture of styles.
This is a rare opportunity to hear live music, and whilst tickets are free, booking is essential for this socially distanced concert in the glorious acoustics of St Marie's Cathedral which is a covid secure venue. In addition, the audience will be asked to wear masks throughout the concert.
