"Out of Silence"
Sheffield Chamber Choir briefly punctuates the musical quiet imposed so suddenly this year by Covid-19 with a short live performance.
"Out of Silence"
We present a socially distanced concert of choral favourites in the glorious acoustics of St Marie’s Cathedral, directed by Robert Webb with organist Peter Heginbotham.
Saturday19th September at 8.30pm. Doors open at 8.20pm. The concert will last 50 minutes.
Both choir and audience will be carefully spaced apart in accordance with current guidelines; stewards will be on hand to guide audience members to a seat on arrival.
Face coverings should be worn by all audience members whilst inside the building (including entering and leaving) unless exempt under government guidelines.
Please remember to keep 2 metres apart from others who are not in your household or support bubble at all times, including outside the Cathedral. Audience members should keep away from the performance area, and leave the building promptly after the performance.
Tickets
Tickets are free but limited in number and booking is essential to allow us to ensure appropriate distancing in the audience.
Seats can be booked for individual attendance (not sitting with others), or as a household group of up to six people. Any household group (or support bubble) should book the required number of tickets in one transaction, enter the building together, and sit together. We can also accommodate two small parties including wheelchair users.
