Radiance
Rush-hour concert featuring music by Liszt and Mozart
Our first rush-hour concert of this Festival features Mozart’s light-hearted Horn Quintet, with a sweet, lyrical slow movement and showpiece finale. Liszt’s Tristia for violin, cello and piano was inspired by a 19th century French novel about the life of a young man seeking spiritual peace and harmony as he wanders through the beautiful landscape of a Swiss valley. Moving from poignant reflection to a radiant declaration of optimism, it’s the perfect musical pick-me-up for the end of the working day.
