The Sterndale Singers return to the beautiful surroundings of Holy Trinity Millhouses with a programme of choral music for the Feast of All Saints

The Sterndale Singers under the direction of Robert Webb and accompanied by organist Joshua Stevens make a welcome return to Holy Trinity Millhouses with a programme of choral music for the Feast of All Saints. Highlights of the programme include How lovely are thy dwellings from Brahms' German Requiem; And I saw a new heaven by Edgar Bainton; Benjamin Britten's Te Deum in C (said to be his finest liturgical work) and Durufle's exciting setting of Tu es Petrus. With other music from Monteverdi, Gabrielli, Schutz and Stanford, there is a wide variety of styles - something for everyone.
Holy Trinity has an excellent acoustic for choral singing, and a fine organ, so this is a concert choral music enthusiasts will not want to miss.
