Music of Dreams

The Brigantes Orchestra return with an uplifting programme of music imbued with the warmth of Summer.

The music of sleep and dreams features in The Brigantes' return to Sheffield Cathedral for the first time since February 2020. Britten's early song cycle, written for Peter Pears, features British poetry on the subject of sleep and dreams, whilst Brahms' sunny second symphony quotes his own charming lullaby.
