Nicola Harpin leads a musical relaxation session for pre-crawling babies and their grown-ups.

Please note, this concert is for pre-crawling babies, not up to 2 year-olds.

Gongs, bells, babies & bubbles! Join Nicola Harpin for this exploration of your baby's senses yoga-style. This session is designed to engage our babies through the medium of sound and vibration. After our welcome, we invite you to relax, get uber comfortable and snuggle up with your little one so you can both be mellowed by the exquisite sound of our giant gong. We experiment with different musical instruments, learning what your child enjoys and understanding how they react to certain sounds. This is an awesome way to interact and get to know your baby whilst understanding how sound forms part of their pre-verbalising routine and world!

Warning: You may find this session deeply relaxing!

Nicola Harpin runs the hugely successful Yoga at the Reach (near the Ecclesall road co-op) which includes lots of classes for new mamas, baby massage and baby and children’s yoga. Check out their website to learn more!

Our Relaxation Concert series includes classical, folk, world, popular music and nursery rhymes performed by inspirational professional musicians. Relax, listen, sleep, enjoy some sensory fun with your babies. Concerts aim to revitalise and entertain the grown-ups as well as give your children a new magical musical experience. Sensory elements include sound, sight, touch, including bubbles, scarves, feathers and simple massage techniques for you to explore with your little one at your own pace.
