A Devotional Performance for Remembrance Weekend

Steel City Choristers are marking Remembrance weekend by performing Gabriel Faure's much-loved Requiem at Chesterfield Parish Church (the "Crooked Spire"). Conducted by Joshua Stephens, and accompanied on the organ by Darren Williams (Director of Music at Doncaster Minster), this will be a devotional performance in a church setting - not a service, but more reflective than a typical concert. Along with the Faure they will also sing John Ireland's remembrance anthem Greater Love Hath No Man; the overall performance will last around 45 minutes. No tickets are required, and entry is free of charge, but there will be a retiring collection.
