This is the day when it is said the birds begin to build their nest. Legend also has it that St Valentine was a Roman martyr who signed off a letter with ‘from your Valentine’ …the rest as they say is history … or legend.

We will celebrate in words and music drawing on words from the Bible right down to modern day poetry:
