The older of the two complete surviving passions by J S Bach dating from 1724. It contains beautiful arias, sublime opening and closing choruses and repeated interjections from the "crowd". Come and hear some of the cream of young soloists, the full chorus and the wonderful Northern Chamber Orchestra
