Music for Kids Day
A day of music, stories, crafts, and more at Greenhill Community Library.
Lucy Phillips and Jonny Ingall return to Greenhill Community Library for another Music for Kids Day. This bear-themed event will include the stories of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' and 'Rupert and the Princess', set to original music by Jonny and narrated by Janet Black.
Children (of all ages!) are invited to bring their teddies to our teddy bears' picnic, where they can learn more about the violin and cello.
There will be puzzles and crafts to enjoy, and a 'come and try', where children can have a go playing an instrument.
This is a free event in memory of Liz Coates, whose generous legacy is making it possible. At 2:30pm, following the main event, there will be a short, informal concert of music which Liz would have enjoyed - all are welcome to attend.
