Passenger Seats: The Natural World - Family performance!
A chance to sit within the orchestra as they perform music relating to different aspects of the natural world!
Passenger Seats is back!
After a four-year hiatus, these unusual concerts - which offer audience members the chance to sit within the orchestra as it performs - return with a programme featuring various works related to the natural world. An ideal opportunity for youngsters (and those of any age) to get up close to orchestral players, see how the instruments are played, and hear some great music from a unique perspective.
In this family-oriented version of the concert at 3pm, the shorter programme will include excerpts from all of the different pieces, tied together with poetry and spoken descriptions of the pieces and how nature is described by the music.
