A positive feast of brass and voices for our summer concert – featuring our usual wide variety of music, this time in collaboration with the wonderful Endcliffe Brass ensemble
Some great tunes and powerful music, from Verdi’s great chorus of the Hebrew Slaves and some of Purcell’s music for the funeral of Queen Mary to Labi Siffre’s ‘Something Inside so Strong’, Tears for Fears’ Mad World and America from West Side Story along with a cracking little number from the time of Henry VIII. Loads more on the menu of course, but to find out what – you’ll have to come!
