Arcangelo Ensemble
Sheffield International Concert Season 2023/2024
The internationally lauded guitarist Miloš Karadaglić returns to Sheffield City Hall with one of the world’s leading period performance ensembles, Arcangelo.
Under the dynamic leadership of its Artistic Director and founder Jonathan Cohen, the collective energy and spirit of the band has taken the musical world by storm since its creation in 2010, generating a flood of critical awards, five-star reviews and sparking audience ovations.
This concert features Baroque repertoire that Miloš Karadaglić and Arcangelo have recently recorded for Sony Classical, due for release in autumn 2023. The programme brings the deep listening skills and artistry of chamber music-making to the fore, with solos for guitar, orchestral masterpieces and works that unify both ensemble and soloist.
