Sheffield Chamber Choir and the West Riding Ensemble herald Christmas with Part One of the Messiah

What better way to herald Christmas than with Part One of Handel's Messiah in the glorious surroundings and acoustics of St Marie's Cathedral.

This performance from Sheffield Chamber Choir under the baton of their experienced conductor Robert Webb will be accompanied by the newly formed West Riding Ensemble led by Dr David Milsom.

This promised to be an exhilerating performance, the small choir and ensemble bringing a lightness and agility to the music which brings it to new life.
