Sheffield Chamber Orchestra Gala Concert
Showcasing the talents of our musicians, this concert will feature SCO players in prominent roles.
This concert is an exciting break from our usual format. We are featuring our own musicians in prominent roles, showcasing their unique talents.
Along with full orchestral works, the pieces focus on the following:
The Caplet showcases our woodwind and horn sections.
The Tchaikovsky is written for string orchestra.
The Handel focuses on our trumpet section.
The Svendsen showcases Ralph Dawson, leader of the SCO as the soloist.
