An evening of beautiful music in an iconic Sheffield setting

Under the direction of Lucy Joy Morris, and with accompaniment from organist James Mitchell, Abbeydale Singers will sing a wide ranging selection of vocal music, featuring traditional and contemporary pieces. There will also be an opportunity to hear separate performances from the choir's upper and lower voices.

The programme will include compositions and arrangements by Morten Lauridsen, Rosephanye Powell, Thomas Tallis, Robert Parsons, J.S. Bach, Charles Villiers Stanford and many others.

We will also be joined by a talented young violinist, Esme Greenwood, who will perform two pieces accompanied by Peter Hurst.

With a huge variety of accompanied and unaccompanied choral music from around the globe, the evening offers something for everyone.
