SUMMARY:First Position Strings
DESCRIPTION:…for players of violin\, viola\, cello and double bass\, approximately Grade 1 – 5 standard… \nHave you started to learn to play an instrument recently\, or are you a returning\, rather rusty\, player? Perhaps your aim is to join an orchestra? These ensemble-playing workshops will give you the opportunity to experience what playing in a string orchestra is like in a fun\, relaxed and stress-free environment. \nThe workshops are aimed at players who have never played in an ensemble before\, or have had very little experience. \nWe will tackle a number of short ensemble pieces\, in a variety of styles. There will be a number of different parts to choose from\, of varying levels of difficulty\, and we will play music in first position only. \nTo find out more\, please have a look at the webpage: http://www.jennyjacksoncomposer.com/first-position-strings
