SUMMARY:Spooky Men's Chorale
DESCRIPTION:A magnificent\, many headed beast which has single-handedly turned the world of men’s singing upside down.\nBypassing well trodden avenues\, The Spooky Men’s Chorale carve out new territories of mighty man sounds\, exquisite tenderness and charming stupidity to both celebrate and mock masculinity. \nFormed in New South Wales in 2001 the Spookies have become rock solid festival and theatre favourites throughout Australia\, Europe and the UK with 7 albums and 900 gigs under their belts. \nNo subject is too trivial or weighty for their attention\, and such ability to find new musical rooms to explore contributes greatly to their astonishing fan loyalty. \nThe show evokes musical worlds far beyond that suggested by their unassuming\, casually hatted\, black clad appearance. They’re just a bunch of blokes but where they take you will blow your mind. \n“Sheer musical excellence. Like the ghosts of choristers long gone” Sydney Morning Herald \n“Don’t miss an opportunity to see them” Daily Telegraph
