SUMMARY:Sheffield Bach Choir - Rossini PETITE MESSE SOLONNELLE
DESCRIPTION:Sheffield Bach Choir’s first concert of the season features Rossini’s wonderful Petite Messe Solonnelle. Ironically titled\, the work is neither short nor solemn\, but bursts with beautiful operatic melodies\, elaborate flourishes and dramatic dynamics. \n \nWritten some 30 years after his final opera composition\, it’s a full mass which the composer  described as one of his “sins of old age”. Doors open at 7.00 pm. \n\n\nBOOK EARLY USING THE ONLINE LINK BELOW – Early Bird tickets cost just £16.50!   Tickets will also be available from choir members and on the door\, £18 for adults and £9 for students\, accompanied under-16s free. \nCLICK HERE TO BUY EARLY BIRD TICKETS
