Job Opportunity with the Sheffield Oratorio Chorus
NewsSheffield Oratorio Chorus (SOC) wishes to review how it organizes its marketing and to find new ways to develop its audience outreach and numbers. We are seeking to engage an individual on a self employed contract, specifically to research and work with SOC committee on efficient management of:
- Our presence on social media
- Preparation and distribution of press releases
- Preparation and distribution of marketing material, such as posters and flyers
We also want to explore avenues and methods of attracting new audiences and increasing audience numbers and advertising income.
Self-employed contract
The contract will be for a maximum of 100 hours, to be reviewed after the first 40 hours. Hourly rate will be £15-£20 per hour depending on experience. The contract may be extended further at the discretion of SOC committee.
Supervision of the project
Progress will be reviewed regularly by two SOC members, the former Chair and former Marketing Manager. At the end of the contract, a report on the progress achieved will be presented by the person who has conducted the review to SOC committee.
