Endcliffe Orchestra provides a friendly and relaxed environment for musicians of roughly grade 5 level upwards to rehearse and perform together. It serves as a development ensemble that particularly welcomes and encourages lapsed musicians and those who are new to orchestral playing and performing. The orchestra performs two or three concerts a year and often takes part in collaborations with other groups, both for concerts and workshops.
Vacancies currently exist, particularly for viola and percussion players. Please get in touch if you are interested, whatever instrument you play!
Rehearsals take place every Monday during school term time from 7.30pm-9.30pm at Millhouses Methodist Church, Millhouses Lane, Sheffield S7 2HA.
