SUMMARY:Intro to String Quartets: Workshop 2 - Building Confidence in Coordination
DESCRIPTION:This second workshop will focus on building confidence in coordination for all players – leading and following – and we will return to some of the music encountered at the first workshop so you can put the coordination skills into practice. There will be some new challenges\, however! We will move through the activities at a gentle pace\, with time spent on establishing the basics using short exercises and playing simple pieces as a group\, and in quartets. This workshop is for less confident players of violin\, viola and cello Grade 1-4 standard (approx.) 18+. Please note: the workshop is not suitable for absolute beginners. \nFor more Info & Booking: http://www.jennyjacksoncomposer.com/teaching/intro-to-string-quartets-workshop-2 \nTutor: Jenny Jackson (First Position Strings) \nPlease note: places are limited. There are only 16 places available (4 quartets). BOOK NOW!

This workshop will give you the opportunity to experience what playing in an ensemble is like in a fun\, relaxed and stress-free environment. \nThe workshop is aimed at players who have never played in an ensemble before\, or have had very little experience. \nWe will tackle a number of short ensemble pieces\, in a variety of styles.
