A new exciting concert series for the city

Sounds of the City is a new monthly concert series at St Matthew’s Carver Street in the heart of Sheffield City Centre. Our vision is to bring together the communities of our city and parish through music, spirituality, the needs of social isolation and education.

Held on the last Saturday of the month in the late morning, the concerts will be 45 minutes long and there will be coffee and pastries available upon arrival. The musicians are local; we want to give them the chance to perform in a comfortable, relaxed setting. We want to give audiences a short performance of high-quality music in a still space away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
