The Seven Sins of Tango by Candlelight

The Seven Sins of Tango by Candlelight is a brand-new production for 2026, featuring two champion tango dancers and a 10-piece ensemble from the world-renowned London Concertante. Direct from Argentina, this electrifying evening fuses the smouldering music of Astor Piazzolla with breathtaking choreography, virtuosic musicianship, and the raw intensity of true Argentine tango.

Experience tango in its most authentic yet sophisticated form as sensual elegance meets razor-sharp precision. The programme features iconic works from tango’s golden era, including Piazzolla’s Suite del Diablo, the haunting Oblivion, and his greatest hit, Libertango, alongside music by Francisco de Caro, Jacob Gade, and others from the late-night bars of Buenos Aires.

London Concertante is joined once again by celebrated pianist and composer David Gordon, whose arrangements and original works bring fresh fire, colour, and passion to tango’s evocative soundworld. This is an exhilarating spectacle for eyes and ears alike—an unforgettable night of drama, rhythm, and romance.
