MESSIAH BY CANDLELIGHT | Sheffield Chamber Choir, West Riding Ensemble & Robert Webb

Sheffield Chamber Choir and the West Riding Ensemble herald Christmas with Part One of Handel’s Messiah in the glorious surroundings and acoustics of St Marie’s Cathedral.

This performance from Sheffield Chamber Choir under the baton of their musical director Robert Webb will be accompanied by the recently formed West Riding Ensemble led by Maria Nikolaeva.

This promises to be an exhilarating interpretation of the work, with the small choir and ensemble bringing fresh lightness and agility.
