David Clover Festival Weekend

Come and support the Festival Weekend organised by Sheffield’s David Clover Festival of Singing, the UK’s only amateur music festival devoted solely to singing. Performers (7 – 70 plus) from around Sheffield and further afield in the UK compete this week over three days singing a whole range of s music including French, German, and British songs, Songs from the Shows, and arias from operas and oratorios. The emphasis is on encouraging local and particularly young voices, with professional adjudicators and accompanists and family members all supporting the performers many of whom choose their own songs
All sessions are fun and enjoyable, but the Festival Finals Evening on Sunday is the highlight. That’s when singers who have particularly impressed the adjudicators repeat their prize-winning performances. Not to be missed.
