Sheffield Lydian Singers and Lismore Wind Quintet: Autumn Concert

Sheffield Lydian Singers and the Lismore Wind Quintet present an evening of music lewd and lyrical, satirical, soulful and silly, featuring composers including Britten, Handel, Monteverdi, Schubert and Schumann. Come and hear two world premières from resident composer Robin Hughes, songs by the ever-irreverent Tom Lehrer arranged by musical director George Nicholson, and, in celebration of St. Cecilia’s day, even a few words about music itself.
