Being Human

Join us on this existential exploration ‘Being Human’!!

Alternatively, come along on this musical journey, featuring ‘Being Human’ – the songs of Kate Rusby, the ‘Barnsley Nightingale’, set to music by our very own musical director, Kate Shipway. This arrangement will feature soloists Kate Towler-Wareham on the flute and Kate Thompson on the violin. As always, our piano accompanist will be Linda Wareham.
In addition to this amazing collection of modern folksongs, the concert will also include many more traditional folk song settings including ‘Three Hungarian folksongs’ by Seiber and ‘Five English folk songs by Vaughan Williams’, and a new arrangement of ‘Dance to your Daddy/Skye Boat Song’ by our in-house composer, Sue Hughes.
