Choral concert – FOC

Would you like to come to listen to 5 magnificent choral works: Tomas Luis de Victoria’s Ave Maria a 8, G. Gabrieli’s Jubilate Deo, Monteverdi’s Ave Maris Stella from his 1610 Vespers, Schütz’s Die Himmel erzählen die Ehre Gottes & Bruckner’s Ecce sacerdos magnus

They are all outstandingly magnificent works, hence our title for the choral day ‘Cathedrals of Sound’

The choir will have gathered at 10.00 in the morning for the fist time and will work hard through the day preparing these great works. At 4.30 we will sing them in an informal concert – complete with instruments (three trombones and an organ in the case of the Bruckner)

Would you like to come to listen and cheers us on? No charge. Approximately half an hour.
