TCHAIKOVSKY Romeo and Juliet
MUSSORGSKY Songs and Dances of Death
STRAVINSKY The Firebird (1945)
This season we’re taking our audience to six geographical hotspots for classical music: France, the Nordics, Russia, Germany and Austria, England, and the United States. Why not guarantee your seat at every concert and save 20% on the whole lot by buying a season ticket?
The chilly weather continues into our third stop, Russia, but the music is warm and getting warmer! Tchaikovsky’s much-loved music distils Romeo and Juliet into its constituent parts, while Stravinsky presents his youthful virtuosity with the ballet The Firebird.
