A programme of sacred music spanning over a thousand years. From the simplicity and beauty of plainchant through to the modern beauty of John Rutter our journey takes the listener on a holy and spiritual journey. Composers from the renaissance and reformation times are followed by the greats of the Baroque era before a journey that culminates in music from the last hundred years. Music by Victoria, Palestrina, Byrd, Handel are featured alongside more modern composers such as Macmillan, Rutter and Chilcott.
