An evening celebrating the music of dance

Black Velvet is a Sheffield based Clarinet Quartet and was formed in 2012. The quartet's repertoire spans 500 years with music ranging from the Renaissance to the present day. The quartet performs regularly across South Yorkshire concerts and festivals. This concert celebrates different forms and eras of music written to dance to, with a few extra gems of pieces that we simply couldn't resist adding to the programme to play in the lovely clarinet friendly venue of Darton Church.
