Bach to Bach
A celebration on the birthday of J S Bach
A full day of music dedicated to the birthday of J S Bach, on the hour, every hour. I shall be performing with my two colleagues at 18:00. We have chosen a programme to appeal to all music lovers, though 'Bach purists' may shake their heads at the inclusion of Gounod's 'Ave Maria'. We have a few favourites such as 'Jesu Joy' as well as lesser known cantatas such as the recititative and aria 'Ach! dieser susse Trost' from BWV 57
