Rainbows
A journey through life supported by faith, friendship and love following our hopes and dreams
Barnsley's Ilesha Ladies Choir is a wonderful group of dedicated ladies who sing in three-part harmony. We come from all over the Barnsley area, converging weekly in Darton to rehearse a wide and varied repertoire of music of all genres: from classical to pop, and from hymns to musical theatre. Our concerts are comprised of numerous pieces from the whole choir, as well as solos, duets and small group performances – we can’t resist picking out personal favourites!
Our beautiful summer concert, “Rainbows” includes a wealth of songs epitomising a journey through life, supported by faith, friendship and love, following our hopes and dreams Expect to hear “The Lord is my Shepherd” , “Bridge Over Troubled Water”, “Something Inside So Strong” and (the Eva Cassidy version) of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” amongst others.
